PUPPETRY INTERVENTIONS project
• Outpulse is an ongoing project and an event when it happens. • Outpulse is an anonymous event happening at random times in unexpected places/spaces with no warning and no designated audience. • Performances are kept out of “official” venues. • Improvisation and experimentation are encouraged rather than work from text. • Exploration of human behaviour in the urban environment through forms of interaction is the preferred theme. • Irreverence is strongly supported.

Outpulse concept evolution - anonymous event/project
New elements
- Outpulse is an ongoing project and an event when it happens.
- Outpulse is an anonymous event happening at random times in unexpected places/spaces with no warning and no designated audience.
- Performances are kept out of “official” venues.
- Puppetry is primary but crossed with live art in all possible ways.
- Improvisation and experimentation are encouraged rather than work from text.
- Exploration of the human behaviour in the urban environment through forms of interaction is the main direction.
Outpulse is a puppetry interventions event/project taking place in London’s streets, ignored and abandoned spaces. The event encourages improvisation, experimentation and hosts a blend of puppetry and performance art works with an emphasis on the exploration of human behaviour in the urban environment.
The present blog intends to document the anonymous event/project.
